Canzoni che restano nel cuore: le mie magnifiche due del 2007

Un anno è appena trascorso, è tempo di trarre bilanci e consuntivi un pò in tutti gli ambiti, ed io inizio da quello musicale. Premettendo che la legge del "De gustibus" in campi frivoli come questo ha un peso schiacciante, eccovi le mie due canzoni preferite del 2007, con tanto di video e testo integralmente tradotto. Nell'ordine inserisco prima "1973", la splendida ballata del cantautore inglese James Blunt, ex soldato dell'esercito britannico di stanza in Iraq all'epoca della Guerra del Golfo, da molti considerato il nuovo Elton John ( eh caro James, di strada ne hai ancora da fare, però!). Un incollatura sotto colloco "Dont' Stop the music" di Rihanna, 19 enne portentosa "ragazzuola" proveniente dalle Barbados. Per il brano in questione la giovanissima cantante si è fatta aiutare niente popò di meno che dal magico menestrello del pop Micheal Jackson. Difatti i più attenti noteranno che in questo elettrizzante brano dance è presente un campionamento del celebre brano di Mr. Jackson "Wanna be startin' something". Pertanto, dato che sono e resto un grande ammiratore del Micheal Jackson artista e al contempo trovo che Rihanna abbia una "bella presenza scenica", non posso far altro che propinarveli! Buona visione, felice 2008 a tutti e abbasso le Spice Girls!
